In a world of mass-produced, bar-coded products, Cut Out and Collect creates functional art that revives the spirit of individuality and creativity. All products with the Cut Out and Collect label are created one at a time as one of a kind conversation starters. All pattern/design work, free-stitch embroidery, cutting, and sewing is executed by the artist.

Cut Out and Collect began as Cheyne Little's attempt to avoid graduate school, jobs involving fax machines, and other acceptable adult endeavors. After graduating with a BA in Art History in 2006, Cheyne traveled to Southeast Asia to continue her studies and found herself in the fabric markets more often than in libraries and museums. She uses a knowledge of symbology throughout art history to create subtle visual messages with thread and textile - always to make sure her work is beautiful, highly functional, and immaculately executed. Besides continuing her travels to seek out unique supplies, Cheyne loves meeting her individual clients who are often smart, clever and share the sense of humor Cheyne uses to create a playfulness in fabric form.
